DJ Matt Saltzer, owner

Matt started his career as a DJ at a local roller rink back in the 80's.  The job was an introduction to a fun way to connect with a mass of people, something that Matt has always enjoyed.  Over the years of providing entertainment to parties and weddings of various styles and levels of interaction and complexity, he has found a way to really put his talents to work for the benefit of others.  Entertaining groups large and small is a passion, even if only by way of interacting with someone over the phone or crossing paths in a hallway.  Matt is always looking for opportunities to make people happier.

"The best part of being a DJ is the opportunity to have fun with a lot of people that are receptive to a variety of musical styles and interactive, fun activities.  I love to organize events and am very detail oriented.  I'm constantly observing the guests on and off the dance floor to see if there is anything I can do to connect with more people by mixing up the musical styles, tempo and the occasional novelty dance."

Over the years, Matt has continually upgraded his equipment and services to include benefits to the customer which simply are not available from other entertainment companies, such as the ivory, themed presentation that you see above, battery backup electricity and multiple wireless microphones to avoid the passing of microphones or the need for the walk-and-talk.

Ken started working for The Rhythm System back in 1997 but after a few years, went in a different direction with his career.  He is back and learning the new techniques and services that have developed over the years while he was working in radio and with some other entertainment companies.  He has been working closely with Matt and will, in addition to his own talents, be incorporating many proprietary techniques, into an experience crafted according to your wishes.  His musical preferences include Motown, oldies, rock, jazz, R&B and funk but is also well versed in a diverse array of music in order to please all age groups.
