Lighting
and Sound Equipment Rentals and Services
This
audio/visual equipment is available to rent per day/event. On occasion,
delivery, installation and pick up service is available, otherwise,
equipment is generally to be picked up at a prearranged time and
returned, also by appointment. Equipment is not on display in a
showroom so please use this page as a guide or ask for assistance in
selecting the gear that might be right for your needs. Need to
know where the gear can be picked up? Click the Contact Us link above.
AV equipment
inventory and availability does change based on the needs of our performances and thus
it is recommended that you call to discuss your preferences and reserve
your equipment well in advance of the needed date. Services
requiring a lighting or sound technician are especially sensitive to
availability.
Our
equipment is only available for local events. Shipping to
your location is not available. Please either arrange for pick up
or plan to use our equipment in the Harrisburg, York, Lancaster,
Lebanon, Gettysburg, Carlisle, Mechanicsburg, Camp Hill, Hershey and
surrounding communities.
Concert-style lighting

Equipment rentals work like this:
The above equipment is owned by The Rhythm System because we have a
use for it. We do not sell our equipment nor do we want you to
break or keep it. We will make sure that you know how to use
what we rent to you so that you don't damage it. What if an
accident happens? To protect us from having equipment
disappear or from coming back dysfunctional, a deposit is required
for the fair market value of the equipment being rented. We
don't want your money, we want the equipment back in the same
condition so that it can be used, sometimes, the next day.
When the equipment is picked up / returned, the condition is checked
and the deposit check handed back to the renter, if no issue
exists. In the unlikely occurrence (it hasn't happened yet)
that there would be an issue, we would determine the value of the
damage or fair market value of the component that is missing, and
ask for a payment in that amount, subject to invoices for
repair/replacement of the item and we will return the original
deposit check to the renter. The rental rate is to be paid in
advance, also, usually by cash or check. If you feel more
comfortable using a credit card for your deposit, we will direct you
to our home page where you can click on the pay by credit card
option. This is not to be used for the rental rate as those
rates are based on a fee-free transaction. A valid PA driver's
license will also be required for identification of the renter...
You know who we are and if we hand you $3,000 in equipment, we also
need to know who you are. If this doesn't sound fair, please
let us know, or, ask any questions you may have about the rental
policies.
